Our Country Campus

MPS Country Campus is located below the famous Temi Tea Garden about 50 kms from Gangtok, the State capital of Sikkim. Overlooking the majestic Teesta Valley the campus opens out to panoramic views of the majestic hills crisscrossing in the foreground and the distant snow-capped mountains in the rear.

Manjusri Public School aims to provide a student friendly and high standards infrastructure that does not compromise the capacity of our educators to deliver high levels of educational outcomes. The Country Campus caters to students from Grades VI to XII and with class sizes of around 25 students the student population is relatively small promoting a more close-knit community of learners.

The classrooms are spacious with expansive views of the mountains. The main school building houses all the classrooms, library, Computer Laboratory, offices and teachers’ lounge and work areas. Adjoining the main school building is the Science Block. This houses all the Laboratories – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Music and Art. The block also houses the conference room and an auditorium.

A large soccer field, basketball court, volley ball court and a swimming pool provide students ample opportunities to engage in and excel in sporting and athletic events under the guidance of seasoned physical education instructors. Our athletes have excelled in the CBSE Eastern Zone competitions and our swimmers have bagged gold and silver in the State level swimming competitions. A small gymnasium houses indoor games, weights and aerobic equipment.

The Country Campus also provides opportunities for children to engage in nature-based activities. Gardening, growing vegetables and tending herbal gardens enable students to connect to their science classes in a practical and joyful way.

Morning refreshments, midday meals and evening tea is served in a large spacious dining hall with a capacity to seat 300 plus occupants at a time. The kitchen is equipped with modern cooking and baking facilities.
