Educational Visit to Sikkim Supreme Juice Factory – Bridging Classroom Learning with Real-World Experience

Students from Grades V and VIII recently visited the Sikkim Supreme Juice Factory, gaining firsthand experience of how classroom concepts in food processing and technology are applied in real-world settings. From observing the selection of local fruits to following the detailed steps of juice production and packaging, they witnessed the importance of hygiene, quality control, and the use of local ingredients to support regional agriculture. Interactive sessions with factory staff enriched the experience by providing deeper insights into industry standards and practices, thereby reinforcing textbook knowledge while igniting an interest in nutrition, local industries, and the pivotal role of technology in food safety and quality.
