Reflecting on 50 Glorious Years – Sikkim State Day 2025

On 16th May 2025, Sikkim marked a historic milestone—50 years of statehood, celebrating its Golden Jubilee under the theme “Sunaulo, Samriddha, Ani Samarth Sikkim” (Golden, Prosperous, and Capable Sikkim). While no formal celebration was held at school, the significance of this day was deeply acknowledged by the MPS community. Sikkim’s journey from a peaceful Himalayan kingdom to one of India’s most progressive and environmentally conscious states stands as a source of pride and inspiration for all. The golden jubilee was a moment to reflect on the state's achievements in organic farming, education, environmental conservation, and cultural harmony. As students and future citizens, we carry forward the spirit of this theme—aspiring to contribute to a stronger, more capable, and prosperous Sikkim. Though quiet, the day was filled with pride, remembrance, and renewed commitment to our state’s values and vision.
