Ana Pana Sati Sessions at Manjusri Public School

From 7th to 9th April 2026, Manjusri Public School, Temi Campus, in collaboration with Dhamma Sikkim, conducted meaningful “Ana Pana Sati” mindfulness sessions for students of Grades IV to IX. The sessions introduced students to the practice of mindful breathing and awareness, helping them develop focus, emotional balance, and inner calm. Rooted in ancient wisdom, “Ana Pana Sati” teaches awareness through breathing and encourages students to respond to situations with clarity and mindfulness. Students were also guided through the “Five Precepts,” promoting values such as kindness, honesty, respectful behaviour, positive speech, and healthy living. The sessions were led by dedicated teachers including Mrs. Denkala Thendup, Mrs. Sanu Subba, Mrs. Tshering Ongmu Bhutia, Ms. Kabita Sharma, Mr. Nakul Sharma, and Ms. Samikcha Sharma, creating a peaceful and enriching learning experience for all participants. The initiative reflected the school’s commitment towards nurturing not only academic growth but also the emotional and personal well-being of students.
