Felicitation Ceremony for Rajya Puraskar Awardees

Manjusri Public School proudly organized a Felicitation Ceremony to honour its Rajya Puraskar Awardees for their outstanding achievement in the Bharat Scouts and Guides movement. The school celebrated the success of eleven Scouts and Guides who earned the prestigious Rajya Puraskar Award, the highest state-level honour in Scouting and Guiding. The awards were conferred by the Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, on 29 June 2026, in recognition of the students' dedication, leadership, discipline, and commitment to community service. The awardees comprised four Guides from the 2024–25 batch, namely Akshaya Rajalim Rai, Sherig Rinchen Bhutia, Tenzin Seldon Dolma Bhutia, and Toyamee Rai. From the 2025–26 batch, the Guides honoured were Karma Kessang Dolma Bhutia, Rachana Gurung, and Chewang Palmu Bhutia, while the Scouts who received the award were Aayush Kharel, Mingsang Subba, Sawanam Chha Rai, and Shayhang Limboo. Their remarkable achievement reflects their unwavering commitment to the ideals of Scouting and Guiding, including leadership, teamwork, discipline, selfless service, responsibility, and active citizenship. As a special mark of recognition, Manjusri Public School introduced its official Rajya Puraskar Scarf, specially designed in an elegant Gold and Green theme. This exclusive scarf will henceforth be worn only by present and future Rajya Puraskar Award recipients of the school, symbolizing excellence, honour, and dedication to the Scout and Guide Movement. Each awardee was also presented with a commemorative memento featuring the silhouette of Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scout Movement, serving as a lasting reminder of the movement's enduring values and legacy. The Management, Principal, staff, students, and the entire Manjusri Public School fraternity extend their heartfelt congratulations to all the Rajya Puraskar Awardees. Their exceptional accomplishment has brought immense pride to the institution and serves as an inspiration to the entire school community.
