Celebrating the Art of Tibetan Calligraphy at MPS Temi

Manjusri Public School, Temi, had the honour of hosting Mr Jamyang Dorjee Chakrishar, a renowned Tibetan calligraphy artist who created the world’s longest Tibetan calligraphy scroll in 2010. During a special workshop with the middle school students, Mr Chakrishar introduced them to the intricate art of Tibetan calligraphy and shared inspiring insights from his life journey and artistic experiences. The interactive session offered students a unique opportunity to explore the beauty of traditional Tibetan art, appreciate its cultural significance, and discover the patience, precision, and creativity involved in calligraphy. The enriching experience inspired students to value their cultural heritage and encouraged them to explore traditional art forms with curiosity and creativity.
