Educational Visit to NIELIT and AAMA Studio

Students of Manjusri Public School recently visited National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology and AAMA Studio for an enriching educational excursion filled with learning, creativity, and exploration. At NIELIT, Pakyong, students explored advanced technology labs including AR/VR, IoT, AI & Data, and E-Waste Labs under the guidance of Mr. Sachin Mangar and interns. The visit helped them understand practical applications of science and technology beyond the classroom. At AAMA Studio, founded by Mr. Dewaker Basnet, students experienced the world of anime and manga creation while also participating in creative activities like clay plate painting. The eco-friendly Japanese-style studio added to the uniqueness of the experience. The trip was both educational and inspiring, encouraging students to think creatively and explore new ideas.

On 30th December 2025, Mr. Phurba Bhutia, Bhutia teacher of Manjusri Public School, was felicitated by Bhutia Kyarab Yargay Tshokpo, Makhim, Gangtok, for his outstanding contribution to academic excellence. The honour followed the exceptional achievement of his student, Ms. Migma Cheki Sherpa of Rangpo, who secured 94% in Bhutia in the CBSE Examination (2024–2025). Meritorious students were awarded ₹10,000 and certificates, while Mr. Bhutia received a certificate of appreciation for his dedicated mentorship. This marked a historic milestone, as Manjusri Public School became the first private institution in Sikkim to receive such prestigious recognition. Our talented athletes : Akhil Tewari and Tenzing Seldon have been selected for Javelin Throw and Shot Put, while Aadarsh Khatiwara, Nishchal rfaj Pradhan, and Sangey Peldon will represent the school in track events, including 800m, 400m, 200m, and 100m races. Students Learn Essential Fire Safety Measures

Manjusri Public School organized a Fire Safety Awareness Demonstration on 5th May 2026 in collaboration with the Fire Station Ravangla. The session was conducted by Station Fire Officer (SFO) Mr. Surya Parsad Sharma and his team to educate students and teachers about fire hazards, emergency response, and safety precautions. The firefighters demonstrated different types of fire hazards, with special focus on LPG and household fire safety. Participants also learned basic rescue techniques and observed live fire control demonstrations using modern firefighting equipment. The interactive session provided valuable practical knowledge and helped create awareness about the importance of fire safety and emergency preparedness among students and staff.
